Yoga unites the mind, body, and soul in a way that eases tension and promotes health and well being. Our mission is to share the benefits of yoga with tweens and teens to be a part of growing supportive community that is inclusive and caring. Each spirit leader teaches with creativity, humor, and a safe space. As teens heal from past trauma or losses we encourage them to release the energy through yoga. This helps our teen yogi to understand the depths of yoga, its benefits and to incorporate the skills into their daily life.

Did you know doing onboarding yoga for beginners can help reduce anxiety, stress, depression, and being overstimulated for your teens. One example is lying with legs on the wall. This pose for 5 minutes helps calm your teen nerves and activates the parasympathetic nervous system. This pose helps your teen to be calm and relaxed. Also it’s a gateway to tranquility and will help release tension. This pose can be done daily for 5 minutes a day. So roll at the mat and zen in your zone.
