Healing with Transparency

Summer time has officially arrived. This month we celebrate Fathers, school is out and LGBTQ awareness. While it’s extremely hot outside make sure everyone stay hydrated with water and fruits that contains water. Let’s celebrate our dads. Most importantly let’s stand in awareness of LGBTQ. Teens can suffer from depression and/or mental illness, however, it can be worse if they do not have love and support for who they are. Please note it takes a strong individual to stand on their truth.  When they are transparent and you do not get it, understand it, or accept it it’s their truth love your teens anyway. All teens bodies and minds are changing and forming into young adulthood and they are having to rediscover themselves. As parents or adults that has an impact or influence in their lives we have a responsibility to create a safe space with love and support. It’s not our job to stand in judgment, but continue to love them as a person who chose to stand out. They are beautiful humans who do not need to feel like outsiders. God allowed raindrops to fall and when the sunlight shine upon the raindrops it produces a rainbow. That’s what healing looks like for your teen with love and support. Love shows up in spite of them being different and projects a rainbow of a safe space. Remember let’s stay hydrated and not project our trauma unto someone else’s happiness.  #youngspiritfit #zeninyourzone #teenyoga.
