As our aspiring teens continue to grow, so should their mind. Closing out this year and season is a good time for teens to relax and release stress to their mind and bodies. The end of the year can be sad or a happy time for them to face. This year most have had to deal with present or past trauma and reliving that traumatic event. Their anxiety level can create depression and even suicidal thoughts and tendencies. Sounds like adult life, but realistically this is some preteen, teens, and young adult current situation.
During this time be slow to speak quick to listen with compassion and love. Take this opportunity to show them how to focus on what is self-care, self love, and self-awareness. Remember love shows up and support with no but. They are going to learn that some people will come and go, but the impact whether it’s good or bad will stay. It’s always good to detach from unhealthy habits, relationships, friends, and even family. Just the mere fact of removing themselves instead of returning negative energy is the process of healing.
They are resilient, outspoken, trendsetters, bold, futuristic individuals. In closing this season let’s take a moment to use the method of meditation that they can obtain lifelong tools to enhance healthier and happy teens.
